Logistics worth discussing
Every home is set up differently, and the practical details affect scheduling as much as the floor itself. When you request an estimate, it helps to mention:
- Parking. Equipment comes in a work vehicle that needs to park close to the door. Let us know about driveway space, street restrictions or visitor permits.
- Condos and apartments. Many buildings require elevator booking, set working hours, floor protection in common areas, or notice to the property manager. Share the rules early.
- Power. Sanding equipment draws significant current; we'll ask about the electrical panel and outlet locations.
- Stairs and narrow access. Older homes may have tight stairwells to upper floors. We note this for carrying equipment.
- Living arrangements. Whether you'll stay at home, which rooms remain usable, and where pets will be.
Outside these areas?
Choose "Other nearby area" in the estimate form and tell us where you are. We'll let you know honestly whether the project is something we can take on.
